Why are certain sites not showing as available for booking?
There are several different things you can verify if you notice that one or more of your sites are not available for booking either online or through the manager app.
When sites aren't available for guests to book online, the first place you will want to check is your dashboard. Note the "eyes" that are to the left of your site number. Notice how in my example, the "eyes" for sites 16 and 17 have a slash through them. This means they are hidden and will not show as available for booking online.
If a site should be available for online reservations, simply click on the eye icon. The dash will disappear and the site will be available to book online.
If the site still does not appear online or you are booking the reservation yourself and the site you want to select isn't showing in the available sites, you can check the site itself.
Let's say you have a customer call you and state that they were trying to book site 16 for their 5th wheel, but it was not showing as available. As you can see on the reserve site below, they are required to put in the length of their RV and whether or not it has slide outs.
You check the Dashboard for the dates and site and it is in fact open, so this makes you question why it is not showing as available. You will next want to check the site itself to make sure it can accommodate their rig.
Navigate to the Sites tab in your campground and find the site that is in question. Once you have found the site, you will click on the three dots all the way to the right of that line and then click edit.
This will bring up the specifications and details of this site. There are a few sections you will want to pay attention to here: the length, driver slide and passenger slide.
As you can see in my example, the customer's rig is 75 feet long, and this site will only accommodate up to 65 feet. This would be why it is not appearing available for the camper to book. You could also run into this is the customer's rig has a driver/passenger slide but the site cannot accommodate them.
