What are Site Types and how are they used in the booking platform?
Site Types are used in the platform to group related sites together. Rates can be set at the Site Type level to easily keep rates in sync for related sites. The Site Type is shown to guests when booking online. You are also able to pull reports by Type which will group revenue by the Site Type.
It is best to make your Site Type names more descriptive since they are shown to your guests when booking online. For example, if you have a group of sites that are full hook up lakefront sites that you charge the same rates for, you can have a Site Type named, "Lakefront Premium Full Hook Up 50/30 AMP."
If you allow your guests to book individual sites online, the Site Type will be displayed in the Site description. Here is an example of what someone will see when booking online when they can pick their site:
