How to help a camper locate their Good Sam Membership ID

If a camper says they have purchased a Good Sam Membership, but cannot locate their membership card or ID, here are the steps you can take to help them recover it.


If the camper signed up on their own online through the Good Sam website:


When they signed up online, an account was created for them using the email they used to sign up.

Therefore, they can go to https://myaccount.goodsam.com/sign-in to login to their account.


If they don't remember their password, they can select the "password recovery" at the bottom of the page. This will take them to this page: https://myaccount.goodsam.com/request-reset-password to reset their password.


If they don't remember what email they used to sign up, they can call member services at (800) 234-3450 for further assistance.


If the camper was sold a membership at a campground or dealership and were signed them up:


They should have received a temporary member ID in the email account they provided to the campground when they signed up. Then they would have received an email with their official card a few days later.


They can use this email to reset their password so that they can log into their account. They will go here to reset their password: https://myaccount.goodsam.com/request-reset-password using that email.


If they don't have access to or remember the email that they provided to the campground when they were signed up, they will need to contact member services at (800) 234-3450 for further assistance.


Campground Portal (goodsamnetwork.com)

You, as the campground owner, can login to your account on the Good Sam Network and verify their membership by using the advanced search.


First, go to https://www.goodsamnetwork.com/start.cfm?goto=/index.cfm and login. You should have received your Good Sam Campground Number in your onboarding packet when you became a Good Sam Park. If you are unsure of what your Campground Number is, please contact your designated Account Managers.


Once logged in, at the top of the page in the left corner there is a verify membership widget. At the bottom of this box, you will see "advanced search."


Click on this to take you to a page with an option to look for a member using a phone number or a last name and zipcode.
