How do I Move a Reservation to the Unassigned Row?
First, let's discuss why you might want to use this feature. If you have a large campground you might only be able to view say 20 sites at a time without scrolling farther down. Say you have a guest in site 2 that wants to move to site 32, but sites 2 and 32 do not show on the dashboard at the same time. This is when the unassigned row can become useful. You'll move the reservation into the unassigned row, then scroll down to site 32 and move the reservation again. Below goes into detail on how to do so.
The unassigned feature can be found by clicking the Unassigned icon at the top of the dashboard (see below):
An outlined row will appear at the top of your dashboard sites.
You can then click and drag reservations to this unassigned box by hovering over the 4-point arrow icon, single-click and drag the reservation to the unassigned outlined row. A pop up will ask you to confirm the move.
Once in the unassigned row, you can then scroll on the dashboard to the new desired site and date you wish to move the reservation to. Then simply do the same as before, click the 4-point arrow, and drag and drop the reservation to the new date range and site number you with to move it to. Another pop up will ask you to confirm the move again.
Once you've successfully made the changes you may see the reservation turn to an Outstanding yellow color - this may be because the site you moved the customer to is either more or less expensive than their initial reservation. So make sure to take a look at their invoice and settle their amount due or issue a refund of the difference if necessary.
When you're all done, you can click the Unassigned icon again and it will remove the outlined row from your dashboard.
