How do I change when our booking page is open for online reservations?
If you are a campground that is only open seasonally and not the entire year, you might not take online reservations year round. Why might this be? You might not have someone available to manage any new reservations during your off season.
We have a setting that allows you to set specific dates where you are open to take online reservations. Most campgrounds choose dates about a month or two before their campground opens.
To set these dates, you will first go into your campground settings.
Secondly, you will access the bookings tab.
Then look for the "Reservations open/close dates" and click on the calendar icon next to this field.
Then you can set a specific time for them to open in the next field to the right.
When finished, hit save at the bottom of the page.
Then when a camper goes to view your booking page, it will let them know the exact time that you open for online bookings.
You will want to be sure to set "Property Open Dates" to limit what dates are available to guests to book online.
Say my campground is only open from April 1st through October 1st. I will want to set this section to reflect that. This will also be done from the bookings tab.
First, find the "Property Open Dates" section within that booking tab and click the +ADD button.
This will bring up a new line with a calendar in it. Click on that calendar and select your start date and end date.
Under the Property Open Date area you will also find sections to limit how long in advance reservations can be made, how many nights can be booked in one reservation, how many sites a group can occupy, and also set your month length.
After you set your dates, be sure to hit save at the bottom! This means when campers are booking, they will only be able to book within this date range.
