How to Create a Reservation

There are three sections on the platform you can create a reservation from. From the Dashboard, from Reservations section and from a specific Customer profile.


Option 1: Create a reservation on Dashboard


From the dashboard click on the "Make reservation" button:

Proceed to Make Reservation Process.


Option 2: Create a reservation via Reservations:

To create a reservation from the reservations tab, select "Reservations" on the left menu. Next click on the "Make Reservation" button

Make Reservation Process


It will take you to the "Make Reservation" page. From here you can select the Dates, Guests, and Campsite Kind.

Selecting the additional options may filter too many sites out and some sites that could work will not be shown.


Click on Search Sites to see what sites are available.

Next the list will show the Sites available for the criteria. Click on the "Select Site" button on the site you want to book.

Once the site is selected you go to the Guest Information section. Enter the Customer's First and Last Name. Optionally you may enter their Phone number and email address. If you have the option to collect their address on, those fields will be available to also fill in.


This is also where you can validate the customer's Good Sam Membership. Click on the "Validate" button under GoodSam Membership to pop up the validation window. You will need to enter their membership #, the Last Name and Zip or Postal Code on their membership account.


Click the "Save & Continue" to move onto the next step.

If you have any Inventory Items set up, the 'Add-ons' page will show. Select any items you want to add to the reservation and select the "Save & Continue" button. Simply click "Save & Continue" if you don't need to add any items.

From here you are taken to the final step. The reservation is still in the "Draft" stage. You must select the drop down at the bottom left hand corner and choose the Payment Type.

If you don't want to immediately charge the customer select "Continue without payment" to book the reservation and get it out of "Draft" mode.

If you select to use the Stripe Card, that section will open up for you to enter the customer's credit card.


Other Payment Types will enable the "Create a reservation" button. Make sure to check the amount shown that will be charged to the customer before completing it.


If there is an email address for the customer, the platform will send an email confirmation to the guest.
