Platform 2.0 - How to create a reservation
There are three ways you can create a reservation on the 2.0 platform
- Create a reservation via Dashboard.
From the dashboard select 'Make reservation'
It will take you to the 'Make Reservation' page. From here you can select the dates, guests, and campsite kind.
(We like to not include the additional options because it filters it a little too well and some sites that could work in the customers favor will not be shown)
From here, you can select the site you want by double clicking the site.
Once the site is selected you will be lead to the next step. From here you will enter the customers name, email, and phone number.
From here you can also validate the customers GoodSam Membership in the same page.
The next step is the 'add-ons' page, if you dont need this you can select the 'save & continue' green button on the bottom right corner.
From here you will reach the second to final page, but your reservation is still not completely created yet. Select the drop down at the bottom left hand corner and choose the payment type.
(If you dont want to immediately charge the customer select "continue without payment". You can still charge the customer later.)
Once the payment type is selected, payment is processed (or not), select the green button "create a reservation" and the reservation creation is complete.
- Create a reservation via Reservations Tab:
To create a reservation from the reservations tab, select 'reservations' on your left hand side of the screen. Then select "Make a reservation"
