2.0: Changing Sites When the Site is Taken by Another Reservation

In this article, you will learn how to switch site assignments when another customer has already booked the site you need.

For example: This week, I need to move Jordan into Site #2 and move the camper Mariah into Site #4.

First you will check to see if both customers are checked in. If they are, uncheck them out first. Then you will enter one of the reservations, select make changes and edit the reservation.

It will take you to the Booking Changes page. From here, find site and select the pencil icon next to it.

From here, you’ll be taken to the site search page. You don’t need to make any changes. Just click the green "Show Sites" button at the bottom.

On the next page, you can temporarily select a different site for the customer.


Now that you’ve selected the temporary site, you can uncheck the "Send email notification to guest" box if you do not want to notify the customer, then click the green "Save Changes" button.

Now go into the other reservation and repeat the same steps. This time, move the reservation to the site you originally intended. Once that’s done, return to the first reservation you moved earlier and update its site to the other one.

Now that you've switched the sites, go ahead and re-check the customer in and you are all set!
