How to View and Edit Customer Information
To view and edit a customer's information, begin by selecting the Customers section. Search for the customer you want to edit:

You can search for a customer using any of the following:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Email address
Once the customer record populates, click on the customer’s name. This will take you directly to their customer account page.

Once you find the customer you are looking for, you can select the name by clicking it and it will take you into the customers account.
When viewing the customer, you will see their contact information as well as stats about their Reservations, Orders, what they've paid and if they still owe any money.

Reservations:
- Reservations / Nights: The first number is how many reservations this customer has booked. The second number is how many nights have been booked by the customer (does not include Draft, Cancelled or Declined reservations). In the example above, Ashley has booked 2 reservations for a total of 7 nights in this campground.
- Reservations total paid: Total that this customer has paid towards reservations. This only includes what has been paid towards reservations, not what is still due on reservations.
Orders:
- Total Orders: This shows how many Orders this customer has connected to their account.
- Orders total paid: Total that this customer has paid towards orders.
Billing Info:
- Balance Due: This is how much this customer still owes on their Reservations. (All orders must be paid in full when entered so only Reservations can have a Balance Due.)
- Total Paid: This is how much total a customer has paid for both Reservations and Orders.
Customer Contact: This is the editable section of the customer. This will display the current phone, email address, address and any RV information.
To edit the customer's contact information, click "Edit Customer" at the top right of the screen. This slides a side panel which populates with the current information where you can update the information:

From here you can make your changes and then select green "Save changes" button.
💡Notes About Edit Customer
- When editing a customer's information, it does not update the guest information on connected reservations, it only updates the Customer's name that is displayed on the reservation. The guest information remains the same. To update guest information, you still need to go to the reservation and update it there.
- There are no checks on updating the customer's email address to the same email address as another customer.
- Any updates you make to the customer will only be done within your campground. If a customer asks you to update their email address and they then ask why it isn't allowing them to login with that email address, it is because they set up their account with goodsam.com with a different email address. You may have them call 866-205-7451 to assist them with updating their information on our side.
- Customer's Reservations and Orders: We will be working to get the Reservations and Orders listed under the Customer's account in the future. For now you can still go to the Reservations or Orders direct and search for the customer to see their history.
- Good Sam Membership ID: A customer's GS membership ID still does not show on the customer record. We will be working to get this connected.
