Do property fees adjust after a change is made to the reservation?

Property fees do not automatically adjust when a change is made to a reservation. Whether you shorten, extend, or move a reservation to a less or more expensive site - the property fees that were originally charged will not adjust to the new site charges.

In the meantime, there is a workaround to adjust your property fees and ensure you are collecting the correct amount. Here are the steps on how to do so:

First, you will want to set up a couple inventory items based on the specific scenario you might encounter when adjusting the original property fees that were charged. We recommend setting up two inventory items. One called "additional property fee" for when you extend a reservation or move one to a more expensive site. The second "adjusted property fees" for when you shorten a reservation or move it to a less expensive site. This will help the camper understand the line items on their invoice.

The additional property fee will be priced at $1.00. Then when you add the inventory item to the invoice, you can adjust the quantity to the exact price of the additional fees.

The second one called "adjusted property fees" will be priced at -$1.00. Then when you add the inventory item to the invoice, you can adjust the quantity to the subtracted property fees from the original property fee charged based on the new charges. See below how the price has a negative number in front of it. This means whatever quantity you enter in, that amount will be subtracted from the total.
