Understanding the AI Vacant Sites Report

The Vacant Sites report shows which individual sites were not occupied during the selected date range. You can use it to find sites that were empty for part or all of that time.

Reading the Report

The dates and grouping used for the report are shown under the report name. In this example, the report covers August 1 through August 31, 2026, with the information grouped daily.

Report totals

• Vacant Nights shows the total number of nights that sites were vacant during the selected dates. In this example, there were 393 vacant nights.
• Total Vacant Sites shows how many sites had at least one vacant night during the selected dates. In this example, 14 sites had vacancy.
• Avg. Vacancy Duration shows the average length of a vacancy period. A vacancy period is the number of consecutive nights a site remained vacant before it was occupied again or the selected date range ended. In this example, the average vacancy period was 21.83 nights.
• Longest Vacancy Period shows the longest amount of time one site remained vacant without interruption. In this example, the longest vacancy period was 31 nights

Vacant Nights by Site

The chart compares the number of vacant nights for each site. Each bar represents one site. A taller bar means the site was vacant for more nights during the selected dates.

Turn on Show fully booked sites to include sites that had no vacant nights in the chart.

Vacant Site Summary

The table shows how each site was used during the selected dates. It includes sites that had vacant nights as well as sites that were fully occupied.

For example, Christopher shows 0 vacant nights and 31 occupied nights, meaning the site was occupied for the entire date range. Adorno shows 31 vacant nights and 0 occupied nights, meaning the site was vacant for the entire date range.

The table includes the site name, site type, vacant nights, occupied nights, and blocked nights. The arrows beside the column names can be used to sort the results.

Downloading the Report

Select the download icon in the upper-right corner of the report to download a copy of the Vacant Sites report.
